The graphics in this game are terrible. All of the battles are fought over the ocean in an attempt to simplify any and all scenery, but it doesn't help. The framerate is so poor, you'll be wondering how your carrier can jump around in the water like a mexican jumping bean. And don't even get me started on trying to shoot down an enemy plane with a dumbfire missile when it jumps around the screen like Jimminy Cricket.
SOUND: 3/10
The background music loops after about 15 seconds. It will drive you crazy faster than watching two little kids throwing rocks at each other yelling: "Pikachu, I choose You!" The SFX are extremely poor, even for a GameBoy. The only reason I gave this category a three, was because of the sound your missiles make. Sure the guns sound fake, the sound of the engine makes you want to vomit, and the explosions sound like static on the radio, but at least the missiles sound cool!
GAMEPLAY: 1/10
Control is very loose in this game. Partly because the screen is so jumpy, and partly because it was programmed poorly. Landing your plane on the aircraft carrier is a joke. You can almost land on it from directly above, like a helicopter. I have yet to see an F-14 land like that (especially on an aircraft carrier where there is ALWAYS wind...) There just isn't any incentive to play this game. All you do is shoot down a few planes, refuel in mid-air(not as cool as it sounds), shoot down a few more planes, then land your jet on the carrier. No story and VERY repetitive

None. You'll be bored after 30 minutes of this game. No story, no cut scenes, no plot, no fun!
RENT/BUY: Neither
The only reason you'd ever use this game cartridge was if you either needed an ugly grey paper weight, or you're extremely masochistic and enjoy torturing yourself. This game isn't even worth the plastic the cartridge was made out of.
OVERALL: 1/10
It looks like the GameBoy isn't capable of handling a flight simulator. Save your money and your sanity. DON'T BUY THIS GAME!
